Lumileaf Solar LED Lamp

This cool little lamp is known as the Lumileaf solar LED desk lamp by Sonelis Technologies. The look is clearly inspired by a leaf and is sure to add a unique character to any home or office. The lamp has a 1.25Watt leaf-like solar panel that charges a built in 1800mA NiMH battery. This battery powers the six 1.2Watt high-efficiency LEDs mounted into the brushed aluminum body. The lights are enough to provide clear and bright light to allow you to read or work.

The frame is built to be water tight so that it can be used indoors or outdoors. That does not mean you can take the lamp into a swimming pool and expect it to still work, but you can leave it on a porch without the rain completely frying the system. Being solar power, this lamp is perfect for setting the mood around a patio or porch. I have no idea how much the lamp is going to cost, but the creators have put a lot of thought and creativity into its creation. The results are a beautiful and energy independent lamp.
