A New Approach to Weeding

While I will gladly admit that weeding is an uncomfortable task, resulting in sore knees and a stiff back, but this solution seems a little ridiculous. One Aussi inventor, fed up with those little foam pads and always having a sunburned neck, built this solar powered Wunda Weeder. The assembly certainly demonstrates some resourceful engineering and design on the part of its creator, but I’m not sure many people are going to make garage space for such a machine.

The assembly, powered by 2 solar panels and a battery pack, creeps slowly along your garden, allowing you to tend to your plants while remaining flat on your stomach. You will be at least partially shaded by the solar panels and there is even a radio included for your own enjoyment. Space up front makes sure that tools and plants remain in reach while you remain prone. The picture above basically explains it all. Though currently only available in Australia, maybe the Wunda Weeder will revolutionize gardening in the North America Or maybe not.
