Oh, You Recycled Paper, You.

It’s generally not all that difficult to find recycled things that make great items in your home. For example, we’ve seen on many occasions just how great recycled cans can be when they’re repurposed into something else. Same goes for glass and even old records. The fact is that anything old can be turned into something new, and this recycled paper storage basket is a great example of that.

While it’s made out of recycled paper, don’t let that tell you anything bad about its sturdiness. In fact, it’s just as sturdy as any other cardboard box you could find anywhere else, and it has the added benefit of looking really cool. The spirals that comprise the bulk of the box give it a really interesting look that will definitely make it stand out. This is the kind of thing that I would say is best suited to being used in a home office to hold papers, or maybe a kitchen to hold napkins and place mats. However you use it, there are probably a bunch of different things I’m not even thinking of, and if you think of some better use then let me know in the comments section.

This belongs to a classification of reusable things that we can all use. The fact is that we all toss out way too much paper, and that impacts more than just landfills. The amount of energy used to create all that paper is enormous, and even the amount of energy it takes to recycle paper into new paper is pretty steep. Reusing things like this is a great way to save on energy in the global system, and get something unique out of the deal while you’re at it.
